I'd rather live in a chicken coop in the country right here in upstate NY than in a city anywhere. I don't get city people. Sure you'll make more money in the city but damn, neighbors you can shake hands with right out your living room window. Sirens going off, horns blowing, tires squeeling every few minutes all night long so you can't sleep. Can't take a piss off your porch without an indecent exposure charge. Can't shoot a critter in your yard with your .243. Can't ride your ATV. Can't shoot off fireworks, build a bon fire or catch some fish in your pond. No place to plant a garden. People, buildings, concrete and ugliness everywhere you look. Dog has to be tied up or fenced in and can't bark. Geesus what a crappy place to live. I'm sure there are better places to live but I like it pretty good right here where all my family and friends are.
