I had one of those in the late 70's. Absolutely loved that stereo. I paired it with a Sansui direct drive turntable and a Onkyo reel to reel. Rounded it out with a pair of Pioneer speakers.
That stereo definitely rocked the dorm until my mother accidentally killed it. My brother and I had the typical dorm room shelving of cinder blocks and pine planks. My mom tried to revive a plant of my brothers on his side of the desk. No tray under the pot and the water ran down the shelf to just above the receiver and poured right in. Only horrible noise sparks and smoke. I do miss it.
