My FIL was a red tractor green combine guy.
The guy who farms my section on the KS-NE border recently traded in a 2014 JD S660 with over 2,000 hours on it and got $150,000 trade value toward a 2019 S780 with just under 200 hours on it. People who aren't around farming have no clue about the cost of doing business, I know that I didn't before I married into a family.of Germans who settled in Nebraska in the 1880's.
As of 5pm today the guys are reporting an average of 63.5 bushels per acre with 11% moisture.
