That's a significant difference to me.
Trump said, "We'll take the guns, and then they can have due process." Not heartening. Red flag laws are supported by both sides of the isle, as is the ATF, and Republicans certainly believe that the gun control laws currently on the books are just fine. So you only like tyranny that isn't "too much."
