What’s your issue? I don’t ever criticize anyone who does something that works. You do, because it’s something different than what you prefer. I can effectively use a certain round that I prefer, so I use it. You don’t like it because you prefer something else. And you falsely assume non one effectively can shoot anything bigger than a 7mm-08. It’s not true.
That wasn’t directed at you at all, MH. It was just me funning with memtb to show the other side of the coin. The magnum guys criticize the guys that shoot smaller rounds, calling them stunt shooters, micro whiz-bang, etc, and the guys that prefer smaller rounds often criticize the magnum shooters by saying they’re compensating for something and need to feel like macho men, etc. Just a quirky dichotomy, is all. FYI, I own and enjoy both large and small rifles. I just know that big rifles aren’t necessary to put critters in the dirt ASAP, that’s all. Doesn’t mean they’re not fun to shoot.
