the checkering on the grips is not overly worn, not sharp peeks but not deep wear , slide has little blueing left ,canvas holester for years, carry wear , maybe 20% blueing left overall.

I don't know if there is anyway to find out if it was issued in 1914 or up graded for the second World War .Ill make a call or two and see if the history can be traced.
