mine was a ruger single six, the first handgun that i ever bought brand new, soon after i moved to a 2a friendly locale. it is with me now, traveling away from home, with 200 rounds each of 22lr and 22wmr ammo, in a locked case. i can carry more ammo and i get to scrounge two different calibers.
