As you well know, I've had the pleasure and honor of meeting both of your folks and taking them for a couple of meals down there. I'm hoping hard your old man has a speedy and trouble free recovery. I also hope that later this year he's well enough to do what you've talked about for years with me; getting out together to do something you said your dad used to loved doing but hadn't for decades-- chasing wild TX quail with a double gun and his eldest son. I know you heard me last night but in case you forgot please pass on my best for me. In old school TX gentlemanly style your pops always was friendly, gracious, thoughtful, kind and engaging-- and even though he was addressing his son's Yankee guest always addressed me as 'sir'.
