i had a savage weather warrior in 30-06 that was my most accurate hunting rifle. i gave it to one of my bonus sons. he hasn't even shot it yet (not a gun guy) but he will shoot it sometime in november, then most likely kill one of the many whitetails currently eating soybeans in my fields. i bought the rifle to give away, but was pleased with the feel and function of the rifle. i'm sure the new storm is equally good. go ahead and grab one.
