Sounds like what my wife had around the 4th of July. Tested twice, both negative. Pumped her full of antibiotics but it still took a month to get over. I had whatever it was also, just not as bad. It was the most unnatural feeling chest congestion I've ever experienced.

Guy I work with got the Rona in June, they tested him 4 times - 2 positives, 2 negatives. So much for The Science is Settled.

Hope your father is doing better.
