Well it was the best of a deer camp visit and it was the worst of a deer camp visit.

The best was the electricity coming back on just as I was closing things up to leave.

The worst was while towing the last big treetop with the tractor I felt a sharp sting inside the glove on my right hand. Smashed it hard with the left, stopped my tractor and stood up shaking my glove out on the cowling when leaves, sawdust and a smashed black spider with a red dot on its belly came out. Well, crap.

Stopped by the clinic on the way back home, showed the spider and the doc probed around with a needle. Gave me a shot and some pills, told me to keep an eye on it. Tested me for covid again.

Hand looks like big ham hock.

Pears for the spider would be much appreciated .
No pics.

Update on Louisiana COVID in the morning.
