It really pisses me off when people and even worse local governmental units violate Flag etiquette...
A cold front came thru last night and blew onof of the local towns "decorative" flags off its mount. I happened to see it lying on the shoulder of the road. The had it mounted on a non-lighted telephone pole and left it up 24-7... That just irks me. The same town has a park nearby with two pole one obviously looked after by veterans (the flag is always in the proper position) and another that always lags a day or two..
This one came home and had its rents repaired before being mounted with proper night lighting as is duly respectful...since I cannot currently adhere to proper raising and lowering hours..
