My reason for doing this .500 Jeffery-P is to shoot any cast bullet that was just not quite right in a too slow or too fast twist in the rifles
I already have:
1:20" seemed to be just what I needed for maximum cast-bullet utility,
and coincidentally that is the standard twist for the .500 Jeffery per CIP,
and it is darn good for .510/535-grain jacketed at full nitro.
I'll deal with the quirks as they come.
