Reads more like a self diagnosis to me.
I used to enter the NWTF decorative turkey call contest....one year I won like four different categories next year I won either five or six different categories. Next year I show up with my calls and I'm handed a roll of blue painters tape....I was instructed by Charlie Burke the guy that ran it I had to put tape over my name on every call.
I asked whats up...he replied "some of these guys think you are winning because of your name".
I find out that it was Dave Constantine and his carving buddy Dennis Poeshel were the ones complaining....I stopped entering allowing them to win more....thus the comment "he knows who his daddy is".
