Same- I got an 8400 Montana in .338 Winchester for a great price at a store that was closing…it shot horrible. Most groups in the 2”-3” range and I finally found one that got to 1.5” consistently, but that was after a lot of load development and I was already frustrated with that rifle and down the road it went.
