Here in the outer reaches of nowhere, they're driven by mostly white folks, and women mostly too.
Not surprised in Cali. Back here it’s mostly a status symbol for Pepe’s that can’t pay the rent.

Oversized/overpriced high end SUV’s aren’t the most practical or best value rides for hard use purposes. They’re built and marketed to people that want to “look paid.” At least here.
Lot of those in the built up areas of CA.

Just more practical folks out this way.

Had to buy the weathertech mats for the back of mine. Much easier to clean up after critter vomit/crap, feed, fertilizer, etc…

In hindsight, a 3/4 ton pickup would have been the wiser choice, but at the time of purchase, I thought I was buying a road trip vehicle for four that could tackle any forest service road out there.
