Anyway here are the pics note in the last pic that the top of the grip has a screw hole for the wood mounted tang sight. The other hole is covered by the tang sight. Most if not all of the engraved and high grade 1895's that I have observed have these holes. Last edited by wyo1895; 09/15/22. wyo1895 With Savage never say never.
