Fubes, some people would call me a welfare rancher.
I say have at that easy money....lol
And without federal crop insurance some years we(the farm) would lose money on the grain side of things. The latest drought payment should cover operating expenses so break even just out your time spent. That and the mental anguish.....lol
But yeah, there are a few local farmers around here who try and plant a crop failure just to receive a payment.
Brother Sam, I have no doubt your struggles are real and bless you and other producers......
