Gents,
I patterend my franchi affinity 20 gauge and new savage 301 20 gauge last weekend.
The franchi is the fancy gun with a burris FF3 and I have absolute faith in it.
The stevens has a bushnell TRS25 red dot and it is my rainy day short blind gun or backup behind the truck seat gun...
I have two issues...
I have a slight mistrust of single shot durability because growing up we had H&R single break and this stevens is a chinese gun which makes me suspect.
Otherwise the 301 has a decent enough trigger and cool to shoot. Very light.
Also the 301 is a single shot if I need a second...
But the 301 throws a nice even pattern compared to the franchi.
Have 301 shooters experienced issues?
