Hey Winchester guys, maybe you can help me out. I know that the pre-64 Model 100s and 88s in .284 caliber were only made for about 6 months, and you pay a definite premium for the pre-64's in that caliber. However, I also notice that those selling the post-64 Models also seem to think they are worth a premium just because they are in the .284 caliber. Are the post-64's in .284 more rare than, say the .243? I know the .308's are the most common, but I'm just wondering if people aren't confused in their asking prices for the post-64's in .284??? Any thoughts or comments??? Thanks.
