They strangle those diesels so much it's darn near impossible to get decent mileage on the newer motors.


Fords new 6.7 and the Duramax LML both have urea injection and are both getting better mileage than the DPF only trucks.

My '11 Dmax actually gets better highway mileage than my '07 Ram with the 5.9 CTD and no DPF.

In town and towing mileage are basically a wash between my Dmax and my old 5.9
