I found out this morning from the dealer I bought my .264 Win Mag from that no prior history on my rifle was available. He bought it from an estate sale in northern Missouri and didn't remember the name of the estate.
Sorry, Fellas. I was really hoping I could get a little more info from the dealer. If anybody has any ideas about how to sleuth it further, I'm all ears.
I wouldn't be too hasty to say that Westerner has been re-finished. I've got a brother to that one with pretty much the same type of finish. Like yours it's seen very little use. Pictures up soon so we can compare.
