I've seen one new deer fawn and have a set of twins and a single antelope fawn in my back 40 so far.
Laws aren't preventative measures. In other words, more laws won't prevent gun crime from happening.

I seen two fawns a couple of days ago. Bucks are growing antlers.

We've got more fawns than I've seen in years. Bobwhites too! Hopefully, we are primed to rebound from many years of drought.

I'm sure our Deer fawns are on the ground too but their mamma's keep em pretty well hid until the latter part of June. They'll start showing up shortly.
One thing's sure though. I've got enough Deer on my place to eat venison every day for the rest of my life if they never had another fawn. They can be a PITA at times but I enjoy having them around.

Fieldgrade: We have seen LOTS of Antelope fawns a few Elk calves and a Moose calf so far but I also have not seen any Deer fawns (Whitetail or Mule Deer!) here at 5,200' to 6,800' in SW Montana. I spend hours watching the Antelope fawns prance and dash about each spring hereabouts! Maybe the Deer fawns hide and lay hidden longer/more? Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

No fawns seen yet, but we are heavily wooded. Our young bucks are sure growing their horns.

Our summer place is at 8000' altitude at the Southern tip of the Wind River Range in Wyoming, we have seen plenty of pronghorn fawns but not deer or moose babies yet, probably still in the deep willows or aspen patches. I will check my trail cam tomorrow.
I love watching the pronghorn fawns, especially when they learn to run, looks like a head and four legs scooting across the sagebrush flats.

Sitting next to my old boss' driveway. Should be a great year. I'm suprised you have any Deer left, no more grass than they have to hide in. Around here the grass is so tall and thick you don't see em until you almost step on em. Then they flush like a Quail and scare the crap out of you.

That's my old boss' front yard. He mows it so it's shorter than if it were wild. That old doe is smart enough to know that the coyotes won't come into his front yard so she leaves her fawns for him watch over. He said he had to chase a coyote off his driveway so more proof to the doe's intelligence.
