As an aside, our camp is less than 70 miles from the prison. I don't know if the area around the prison is like our county. but if it is, about half of the homes are seasonal, hunting/fishing or weekend camps. It could be weeks before someone reports a break in at a camp. By then they could have food, guns, and transportation out of the area (4 wheelers, boats maybe?)

Ever hear of Alis Ben Johns? He was a murderer on the run with his girlfriend a few years ago about 30 miles from here.
There were 100s of officers, helocopters, dogs for months looking for them. The Corp. even let them set a forest fire to burn off a point on Truman Lake where they suspected he was hiding.
The area where the manhunt was focused was rough but not too bad with lots of weekend cabins and camps but traversed with many roads and lots of year round residents.
It was surreal with roadblocks and an army of police.
It went on for several months and when he was finally captured(thanks to a barking dog)he was less than 10 miles from the center of the search area maybe closer to 5 miles. They even made a song about him.

I just heard on the radio that authorities think they are still in the area. No kayak was mentioned.

They've been smart enough to avoid the facial recognition cameras on every corner.

Thank you Mr. Snowden.

The witch spilled. The plan was for her to drive them to kill her husband.. Lovely woman.

They probably planned to kill her instead and take her truck. I doubt they had a plan B for transportation so probably still hunkered down.

Don't have any idea if they're homosexual or not, but IF they are, I'd center the search around Rob Jordan's house.

if they have a cell phone and friends on the outside, that could change the manhunt

I can't believe they've gone this long without leaving some trail or breaking into a home or gas station - maybe they lucked out and found an empty house

That Frein guy was leaving tuna cans , ammo, and all kinds of gear to be found.

Good question, Rob. I wonder how many "gun control" folks are wishing/hoping they and all their neighbors have loaded firearms handy.

I heard the gal that brought them the tools, "got cold feet" regarding the initial plan to provide the escapees a ride and then have her husband killed. Apparently her husband was another correction officer working there.
