New kid on the block here. Been around muzzleloading for about 20 years now. Started with CVA rifle that I put together from a kit, then got a T/C Hawken given to me (from a close friend that couldn't stand the smell) and most recently a T/C Black Diamond XR. All in 50 cal. Love going out and just shooting. Have also taken several deer with the first 2. Have only shot one deer with the inline so far (only had it 2 years now).

Well, good luck this year. What's the old cliche... "Third times a charm".... Maybe third year will be the trophy!!! PorkyPooh
Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

Howdy Smokin. Welcome to the campfire. We've got a pretty good group here, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I've got two front stuffers. My first is a PA Long Rifle, and I just got a Hawken a couple of months ago. Both are .50 cal flinters made by CVA.

PA has always been flintlock only. This year they have a week long doe season for ML, and in-lines are legal for that. The Post X-mas season is still flint only.
7mm
