Father’s Day Rebate on the Tamron 16-300mm Di-II VC PZD Macro lens. From now until June 21, 2015 Tamron is offering a total of $100 on my favorite travel all-in-one zoom lens! The Tamron 16-300mm Di-II VC PZD Macro lens is compact, lightweight, has Vibration Compensation, fast focusing motor and is capable of shooting macro images to about 1:3. The lens is designed for APS-C sensor cameras. This is an incredible, sharp lens and for the price, a perfect lens for anyone’s bag. Time to give Joel or Mark at Camera Land a call to get your Tamron 16-300mm Di-II VC PZD Macro lens and any other photography needs! As always please let them know you are a member of the Campfire for the best pricing available!

I leave this lens on a camera body at all times. I almost always carry a camera with me at all times and it is the camera with this lens on it. I have been using a Canon 70D with the lens for some video and stills both. I have become extremely confident in its fast focus, and being able to hold it at slow shutter speeds with the Vibration Compensation. There are times when I am not allowed to carry a tripod and knowing the Tamron 16-300mm Di-II VC PZD Macro lens is on my camera body, I have faith the image will be sharp. It is the perfect lens for backpacking with the ability to capture macro images as well. All the images below were made using this lens.

All the images below were made using the Tamron 16-300mm Di-VC PZD Macro lens at Old Car City in White, GA.

Great photography is not about being in the right place at the right time, it is about putting yourself in the right place at the right time.
