Nope, those are the Chinese version. Stay away.

If you can examine the scope, it will say MADE IN CHINA or MADE IN JAPAN on the bottom of the main tube, just ahead of the eyepeice. It may be hard to read, but it's there.

I have two of the 1.5-6x "Euroscopes" and they are both MADE IN CHINA. The optics aren't as good, but they seem to be rugged scopes.

My 6x42 euro is stamped "Japon".

is it marked "Euro-Class" or "Euroscope"?

Actually, it says 'PORT'.
And, it also says 'JAPAN'.

Any updates or further reviews on these scope? Just bought a 1.25-4.5x30mm at a price that could not be ignored. German #4 reticle will be going on my Whelen.

My .460 Weatherby has been slamming that scope for almost 25 years. You will not be able to break it.

Re: The first Tasco Sniper scope, I was also given one of these to destroy. (Tasco wanted to see how much punishment it could take being a sniper scope). I put it on .458, .416 Weatherby and .460 Weathery to the point it was mangled with the "26mm" scope tube crushed and bent, but it still tracked and held zero once I moved it in the riings to a round segment to re-align.

What you see in a Walmart Blister Pack is not representative of what they can actually make. The other very good scope they made was the World Class Plus and not the model you see here in the US call World Class (No Plus) It is right there with a good Leupold for glass quality and tracking was set and forget, which for me was about 23 years until I moved it to another rifle where it is still, set and forget.

I've got a 1.5x6 Titan in the box with paperwork,made in Japan,excellent condition I'm going to sell-not sure what they are worth,I think I gave 140.

A first class marketing blunder. Seems they were going to make a run at the Alpha Euros, price point as noted.

Tasco was the wrong name to put on a high end scope. They are sleepers, a bit heavy, but solid FFP scopes.

You occasionally see one on EBay, just make sure it’s Jap, not Chicom. They used the Titan name on those. Not the same scope.

Japanese Titans are a lot of glass for the buck.

If buying a NIB Tasco Titan one better hope they are 100%. Is tasco still in business and would they repair one of these?

From what I understand, Tasco never made anything. They were an importer, marketing and re-labeling house.

You probably right about CS, doubt it exists.

Some Jap Titans on EBay for around $500. One all beat up 1.5-6x42, for $250. So I guess the old days of finding a sleeper may be over.

I could use a bit of weight on my Whelen. Weighs 6.75lb w/o scope.

I have a Tasco World Class 3X9X40, made in Japan, that I've had since the 1980's. It's been dropped out of a tree, bounced around for miles on a 4-wheeler, and never once lost it's zero. I originally had it on a 270, but it's on a black powder rifle now. It's as good a glass as anything I've ever had.

I bought a Tasco Euro-Class 3X12X52 back in the 90's, Japan made scope. Supposedly was a good low light scope, but the one I had was not. The old world class put it to shame in low light condition, so I traded it off. We all pretty much know what Tasco's reputation is, in that they turn out a cheap line of scopes. I have not bought a new one in well over 25 years, and can't imagine doing so, but they did make some very nice glass for the money at one time.
