A few more pics. At the moment this is the best of all the Mini actions. Zastava's not in the game and Sako's L461 are 45 yr old collector pieces. hoping to get a range session this sunday.

We have Lightenings for $329.99. I have a bunch of the mini's coming too that should be here any day now. They're also $329.99.
That's quite a bit cheaper than the mini's we have on the shelf... Barreled actions or the whole gun? Travis

I'm also wondering about magazine length. The 1/9 twist isn't ideal for heavies, but does the magazine allow for seating the medium/heavies out where they should be?

Depends how it's throated but I would say that if you are wanting to play with the longer bullets, the standard SA is going to be the safest bet.

The Howa model number is HMA60203+. It's a complete gun. This one has the OD Green plastic stock.
As to barrel contour, their website shows it as a #2. I currently have one on the shelf and it's more like a #1...22" long.
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

These are the specs for the non-Mini barreled actions. They rotate some off when they stop pushing them into distribution, but they often still have inventory. Generally, the rifles are one of these in some kind of stock. http://www.legacysports.com/barreled-actions

69/70gr proj should be the upper limit for the 1:9 twist, the rifle should be at the range testing some 70s tmw
How does the Howa MA mags dimension compare to other 223 mags
Remington Model 7 - 60mm Howa Mini Action - 59mm Mini MarkX Mauser (aka Zastava m85) - 58mm AICS 223 - 65mm

Ole mate has been working on a fixed butt stock with an adjustable cheekpiece. We have different gun laws across the different states 8n Australia, so collapsible and folding stocks arent an option for me. Should be finished this week

SAS is there any prospect of a hinged floorplate version?
I hate those magazines protruding down.

Cheers mate. Welcome to the forum. Expect politically incorrect responses to your arrival. You may be expected to live up to them. Rifle loonies are always welcome. kwg
