About 9 63/64ths out of range for contention.

Think along these lines.




You must invest in very good optics to discern a "DAT" candidate, even at the extended ranges of 40 to 50 yards.

I'll share one secret. You see two does traveling together, one small, one big. Shoot the small one, it's a 50/50 chance...

It started life as a stock SPS.
Cut and crowned at 22.5" (I hear .5" makes'em mo better).
Bolt and handle done by Kampfeld.
Timney trigger.
B&C Ti stock.
Talley Lightweights.
FXII 6x36 w/dotz.
[None of these alterations were CampFire inspired :-)]

My 13 year old niece on her first ever bowhunt. Shooting a 35# bow. he went 50yds and piled up. Shamelessly cross posted because she did such an awesome job.

That one will be a contender, uber cool points too for using a bow and her first bowhunt.

we need a scoring system with points or something, we've gotten some good submissions this year so far!

Yep the bruiser was waiting at a gate where the does had bend down to squirm under a gate. The Prince of the forest would stick his nose in the does crotch buck and run circles around the gate. He was running past me as I pulled the bow back. He saw the movement and slid to a stop like a reining horse. 20 yards WHUP!

My entry...bear in mind it comes with an 18 wheeler of Becky!

After the 60 day drying period, and a semi-full of Becky, he will be a bonafide dink.....

Bring the Becky in this and you might be a winner. Make the vehicle part of the package and it'll be a wrap...
