That was some tough news to deliver obviously. I will say though that you did a great job of capturing a great image to remember him by one day. It really seems to capture his character.

I can't compete with most of the photos but I'll post a favorite of my from 2015. A beautiful Axis buck, doe and several yearling. I took the photo last May while I was hunting near Uvalde, Texas. Last March on the Campfire Hog Hunt we had a lot of animals to shoot with a camera, but not many hogs to shoot with our guns. The first day we had dense fog. We also had a couple of these stupid azz things hangin around. One day as we were all sitting around having a beer waiting for the evening hunt, this bastrd came right up on the front porch of the lodge and was looking in the window of the kitchen for the lady cook. I believe the WTF's are the blackbucks. The blackbucks "might" be young impala. No expert though.
