This is for you 'Young Bucks' showing us it can still be done...even at your age. Pretty cool shots. Here's something I'll always remember:
30 years ago, when I was actually young (I'm not old now, but I sure as heck am not young anymore), I ran into an old boy hunting deer here in the mountains of southeast Idaho, and chatted with him for a while. He was 73 years old.
But what was remarkable, and what sticks with you, is not that he was 73. What was remarkable was that he had one leg, and he was hunting on crutches. And he was alone.
That pretty well defines "tough" for me.
These shots brought that memory back for me. Thanks.

greggun,
No problem, glad you enjoyed them and the memories.
The pictures I scanned from a photo album that belongs to a guide friend of mine. I thought they were neat and I admire the guys that have the dedication to "keep on going", I'm sure it's very difficult at times. Hope I manage to hunt the hills when I'm up their in age. It's hard enough at 34, what's it going to be like when I'm 74?

Cut that junk, ole no is 72 and going strong, not quite as fast but who needs fast while hunting? Still get it done one way or the other. Drive 24 hours straight through to CO, shoot pool half the night, wear a young buck out just following me around. You are only as old as you let yourself be. -- no

no, you are absolutely right. You're the same age as my Dad, and with two artificial hips, he can still work me into the ground.
