What is the difference in value between a stainless model 70 with a standard bolt face and one with a magnum bolt face?

Did they make any short action M70 LH rifles?

I have a lefty stainless in .338 Win mag and may be looking to find a stainless lefty standard bolt face in either long or short action to trade for...PM me if you are interested in a trade.

Of the magnums, you have the one that usually demands a premium. In even condition, I would say you are at least $200-$300 ahead in value. A 7mm or 300 mag might be closer to even.

They made the WSM calibers more recently, but not sure about a true short action in that era.

Sure would be nice if Winchester would bring back a LH M70 given how expensive and hard to come by the old ones are (I've never even seen one in person), but FNH seems content to only offer LH options under the Browning label.

As long as there's still lead in the air, there's still hope!

There were a very few LH Win 70 SA in Std. calibers made by the Winchester custom shop. Unsure if any were made in SS though.

I recall seeing a Winchester custom shop left hand short action M-70 in stainless chambered in .260 on Gunbroker many years ago. As I recall the rifle was priced at $2,800. It did sell.

Standard boltface always bring more with the LH SS m70 (and 700 series.)

Practically can't give away the lh 700 SS ultra mags.
That said, the Winchesters in the magnums bring more than the comparable Remingtons.
