Wife went and got some fresh made wheat noodles this morning at the local noodle factory. Made this AWESOME MISO UDON.

Bokchoy, shiitake mushrooms, spinach, bamboo shoots, tofu, hard boiled egg, green onions and fresh made this morning noodles.

I topped it with a little Sriracha.

I used to Bear hunt with a friend in Coos Bay OR. His Mom would buy Tuna fresh off the boat and can it.
She'd load me up with a dozen or so jars every time I showed up. It been hard to eat store bought ever since.

We have a pan of corn casserole and a Montana meat loaf in the oven.

What’s a Montana meatloaf Jimbo?

I suspect its called an Idaho or Washington meatloaf in those places!

its got 2 eggs, 2/3 cup milk, 2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 3 slices bread, crumbled, large chopped onion, i cup cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup shredded carrot, 2 pounds ground beef.

The topping is what makes it really good,.

1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup ketchup, and a table spoon yellow mustard.

We double the topping.

Finally about worked through a freezer full. Smoked a good bit of it and tried canning a some. My smoked comes out better than my canned.

I've been racking my brain for about an hour now and for the life of me I can't remember his last name (old timers disease).....first name was Tod.
We met at a party at a mutual friend in Carson City NV's house and got to talking about hunting.
I had never hunted Bear and he had never hunted Mule Deer but we both wanted to so we planned a couple of hunts.
That went on for about five years with both of us having success but life got in the way and we lost touch.
His parents were just great.....his mom picked berries and had a fresh pie waiting in camp at the end of the day and his step father was the best woodsman I've ever met. He had the #4 OR Black Bear record (at that time?) hanging on his wall.

Chunk er up, inch headspace, little salt, lil evoo and pressure cook the alotta time. I can getcha exact measurements/time if you want. Last few years though I’ve been adding rosemary, dill, japalenos, or siracha. Siracha is really good. Brought some yellowfin back from Mexico in October I canned it all up, but haven’t tried it yet, which reminds me I have some vacuum packed tuna collars in the freezer I need to bbq...

I’ll give it another run this year. I didn’t use any oil.

Smoked came out killer. First batch was a bit salty. That tuna soaks up the salt far more than salmon does.
