I'm not used to eating fancy foods, and although I raise beef cattle, I would just as soon have a good pork chop as a steak........not that I don't care for steak, because I do. I like pork chops fixed about any way there is to cook them......fried, grilled, oven baked, barbequed.......I like them all.

Cornbread, baked beans, and some excellent ring bologna from Kramer's in LaPorte.

We had stuffed zucchini tonight and it was great as always. We are heading out of town for a few days so eating light is always a challenge.

Ed,
I've made stuffed zucchini once, and it was pretty disappointing.

I've found hundreds of recipes on the 'Net, but they all look good and I don't know were to begin.

Do you have a favorite recipe that you could post?

I have to admit that I was lusting after a breaded, fried pork chop a few weeks ago. We were in southern Alabama at a restaurant near where my brother and I have a small cattle ranch and stopped at a diner that my brother has raved about for years. All steam trays with the southern basics...fried chicken, mac and cheese, fried green tomatoes, sweet potato casserole, and friend pork chops. I don't eat pork, but my wife does and she is a very picky eater. At first she wasn't too impressed based on the looks of the pork chop, then she cut into it and ended up going back twice.

We ate at a Brazilian steak house last night celebrating my son’s fiancé’s graduation here in College Station. My wife and I had the salad bar. They rest ate enough meat to experience their first case of the meat sweats.

Has anyone seen dvd Dan and his tomahawk ribeyes lately?

Dan, It’s the holiday season. Maybe time for you to show me again how to make them ribs right? Please...

Tonight I had to grab a broaster chicken, but I wanted something good to go with it. Made a very nice risotto with mushrooms.

He has been absent here for a while now.

Hope he comes back.
