Grilled up some caribou steak tonight. Marinated it in a homemade teriyaki sauce for a couple of hours first. I made a pot of chili today. Haven't had dinner yet but the sampling while tuning it was positive. A mix of ground beef and diced sirloin.
Conduct is the best proof of character.

I like caribou, gets a bad rap from alotta folks I think lotsa folks kill them for antlers first, and meat second. Kill them too late in the season and a rutty bull is gonna taste like schit. No different than any other critter really. I’ve been lucky enough I guess to not kill a bad one. They’ve all been damn tasty!

Chicken marsala sauce from a jar, breast pieces, spuds, green pepper and pineapple junks over brown rice. I liked it, kid thought it was punishment!
