Ha! Not going to lie, it was damn good. Put about a half inch of champagne in the bottom of the pot before it went in.
Dogs were drooling all over the kitchen floor..

Lamb shoulder is under appreciated, but not by anyone who's had it prepared correctly.

For lunch I'll have some ox-tail soup I threw together last night.

Our Son Doug, is off to 3rd year trade school, in Sault Ste. Marie, Saturday Morning.

He's asked for ribeye & cajun shrimp for dinner tonight.

Po' folks food for me tonight. But, it's one of my favorite "comfort foods". Growing up in a relatively large family living on the traditional, at that time, one earner budget, we ate it relatively often. Enough for me to have fond memories of it. I don't make it much as my wife doesn't like gravy, weird eh?

Hamburger meat, brown gravy and rice. Some onion and garlic cooked in with the burger for flavor, homemade gravy tonight but mom probably used a package or that stuff in the little jar.



Some steamed broccoli to top it off. Told my siblings in our daily text, my tummy is happy!

I'd eat it, that looks good!

Simple stuff, easy, and way better than a can of Campbell's chicken noodle soup.

I cooked it many a time when I was a bachelor.

The not so good Dairy Queen fish sandwich I talked about in the freak show. Usually the sauce is sloppy messy, not this one.
