Just stuck a Jäger Eintopf in the oven for an hour or so. Ground Nilgai, sliced mushrooms and chopped leeks in a cream sauce. Sautee In butter and minced garlic. Topped with mash potatoes and grated cheddar!

The local grocery chain had corned beef on sale for .79¢ per Lb. So, I bought about 20 of the darned things. I went through them all and picked the very largest they had.

So... today it was corned beef. Carrots, onions... and sauerkraut of all things. With a little spiced up german mustard & horseradish.

Yum !

You fellows are eatin' high in the hog. A deli roast beef slice, and white processed cheese sandwich, some chips, rhubarb pie, ice water, and back on the planter.

I can tell just by the pic of that salsa it's good. grin
It's really simple with the right combination of the right ingredients.

Will be getting some more outstanding tomatoes from the Farmer's Market out by the Glades on Wednesday. Really looking forward to some salsa.

For the elk we sliced it thin from a round roast, and mixed it in a bowl with sesame seed oil, a little teriyaki, salt and pepper and let it sit for an hour or so.

It was awesome.
