Spaghetti with meat sauce. Cooked it half the day. Ground Antelope meat, onions, garlic and other stuff. Pretty good.

Pard had me over tonight for soup.
When we butcher our chickens, I save the gizzards for him. No one in the house wants anything to do with them but me, so I pass them on.
He made chicken soup and added some cut chicken thighs as well. I brought him a big Ziploc bag of my beef, barley, vegetable soup.

Last night was "dairy less", roasted butternut squash soup.
Roasting the squash & onion, certainly enhanced the flavour !
Didn't miss the cream or sour cream.

Whole front shoulder roast, or blade roast. Mule Deer. nothing fancy, cut off the shank, cut through the leg bone with a saw to allow the goodness to coeo ut while braising. 4 hours @300 and the bone falls right off. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/TOuiz8M.jpg)

I finally got around to trying my hand at making Perogie's today.
They came out "OK" and looked like the pictures I've seen but I don't think I'll make em again.
They kinda remind me of those pie dough dumplings some people like to ruin a pot of Chicken with.
The Kelbasa I made with them was good though.
