I Just Bought a Leupold 6x42 LR Duplex from a member and wondering if it will work using a set of Burris Signature Zee rings(medium)on a Tikka T3 Superlite ?
The Base I have on it is a Tikka Performance center rail(o moa).

don't think Sig Zees will fit the groove.....

what I use is Leo 54447 2 pc turn in bases

then Burris Sig turn in style rings......

others will use Talleys....etc........

The rail you have is a pic rail and will fit the Weaver-style Zee rings. (I have a set on a 308.)
Push the ring forward in the slot before you tighten it down.

Thanks guys but what I meant to ask was whether the combo I talked about would be high enough to clear the scope or if I would need higher rings

I've not used that particular combo, but the mediums are fairly high compared to other medium rings, so I doubt you'll have a problem.

My t3 has a weaver base (dont remember manufacturer), low weaver top link rings (lowest rings I am aware of), and clears a 4-12x40 You should have plenty of room with the medium Zee/42mm objective.
