I would be thrilled with any one of those guys as president.

At least initially.

If they're good enough for trump, they should be good enough for you. If not, why not?

Yeah, I already know everyone's gonna hate on me for saying it. I have spent my entire life holding my nose and voting against the other guy. I'm done with that, the GOP can no longer take my vote for granted. I've been a lifelong Republican but I may go out and register as a Libertarian, depending on how this election plays out.

There's a lot to like there.

The big-government "Conservatives" here won't like the notion of not waving our military dick in everyone's face. The nanny-state Social "Conservatives" here won't like the notion of getting the .gov nose out of everyone's ass.

I voted Libertarian last cycle and it was the first time in my life I actually felt like I'd voted my conscience. It was a great feeling. I will not vote for Donald [bleep] Trump. Are you f'ing kidding me?! The guy is a buffoon and an utter chameleon. All he's done is toss the right firebombs to get people riled up. I also will not vote for Hillary Clinton. So, Libertarian it will be again.

I am lucky in the sense that there's no way in hell Oregon goes either Cruz or Trump, so my vote is a luxury.

Exactly. The people who continue to vote for the lesser of two evils are the reason we keep winding up with evils. I'm not wasting my vote on republicans anymore.

There will likely never be an election where you're not voting for the lesser of two evils. Both human nature and the nature of politicians virtually guarantee that. The world is imperfect. Be an adult and choose.

You are to stupid to know enough not to post or talk politics here after voting for Obama... TFF priceless !

Luxury in the sense of socialist euphoria? Hope you're keepin your powder dry, dude. You're gonna need it in a couple years, you keep voting that way. You'll probably wake up about the time your ass and assets become communal.

Unless some people leave their infantile utopic fantasies aside and VOTE FOR THE LESSOR OF TWO EVILS, we will end up with the greater evil each time.

What the heck do you think a vote is about in this world, if not choosing the lessor of two evils???

The only one I know who would govern exactly the way I would do it, is ME. And I'm not running.

Ding, ding! We have a winner. You have to think about it in terms of why wouldn't they help build it? Gets a lot clearer.

Clue me in then. I see not a chance in hades' MX pays for the wall....any of it.

Direct all foreign aid earmarked for Mexico to the wall. They will have no choice. $971 million per year, if memory serves.

Guess you've never heard about a little thing called NAFTA. Hasn't done schit for us. MX has done pretty good by it, though.

The problem is that we too often do this from the get-go. It's a fine approach in the general but we start the process focusing on winning at any cost, rather than choosing who might be good for the whole. Consequently, it's little surprise that we're left sorting through the muck of 'the lesser of evils'.

Trump - the most likely "Republican" (using the term loosely)- is still a big unknown, and will likley continue to be an operative unknown if he clears the final hurdle. But I still fear that he might generate more fear (and hate) from the opposite side, that he will be pummeled by those who vote 'anyone but Trump' - and that number is not insignificant.

Along with the fear and hate; is when Hillary says he helped me get elected.

Never mind!

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.
