If you put a good thread base down then a drop of glue and wrap /tie the hurl in, that helps too....

Picked up the flies today. Very impressive on ALL accounts.
I have tied the Blonde Wulff, just didn't have the saddle hackle I needed for it. I LOVE Wulff flies.....

BTW, HG, can you post a picture of the extra fly I included? The one you sent to S'Head??? Scott, can you snap a pic of that extra fly <tagged an AK special>....Hunter tied that for you.....so I didn't get a pic of it...unless I have this all messed up....which is HIGHLY possible  ..... HoundGirl

It's the Parachute Stimulator that I origionally was going to tie. I use it on 4X or 5X and it works for Stone flys, Caddis and maby Hoppers too. It's one of my favorite flies to fish.

Won't be using any of those flies any time soon.All the water I fish is locked up under ice and are closed waters to fishing until after june 15.
