I can't speak for the other brand but I am greatly impressed by my Yeti tumbler. I haven't had the chance to use it in really hot weather yet but I know it will keep ice water for a full 24 hours indoors. It doesn't work quite as efficiently with hot beverages due to the heat loss through the slotted lid but it will still keep coffee warm for several hours. My wife and kids gave it to me and had a personalized engraving put on it. I really like it.

Yeti.......for they person who thinks ice in a cup is worth $40 In EU you could buy one made in place like Italy or Germany for same or less. Forty USD is lot of money for something likely made in PRC.

Good for you....stay there..... Don't be a dick. He's right, especially when the OP's posted study shows the $10 tumbler is exactly the same thing, with both made in China.

I could give a chit about the products but I get tired of Slavic never missing a chance to come on here and tell us how great his EU socialist eutopia is and how fubar the US is...YMMV....

I save money by buying yeti stickers and slapping them on all my stuff.

I just don't see the need for a koozie though. I don't sip my beer slow enough when it's hot enough to matter.
The wife and I just ordered 20 and 30 oz Rtic branded tumblers which are half the cost as Yeti. I'll have to check Wally World for the Ozark branded versions. This is right up my alley as I'm a cheap bastard when there is a cheaper alternative

I tried it out with some coffee this evening. Still hot after 4 hours.

The Wal-mart version probably won't sell nearly as well as the Yeti even though it's the same thing.
From what I've seen people seem to buy these things so they can be seen walking around with something that says Yeti on it in their hands. After those $400 coolers came out it seemed like any redneck worthy of the name had to have one (or more). I suspect some guys had coolers worth more than the trailers they live in.
These Yeti tumblers seem to be the redneck version of the Air Jordan sneakers all the black kids kill each over. Another might work just as good, but the point is to be seen with it not how it works.

Unless your in a duck blind in January with a Nor'easter blowing'em in off the North Atlantic. Or in your case, maybe a blind on Presque Isle in December with squalls and bluebills blowing in from Canada... Or maybe your not from that part of PA. I've had plenty of lukewarm coffee in blinds out on the beach.

Never hunted waterfowl, and live at the bottom of the state. I would use my Stanley for that though. I do understand the use for it now though. I just tend to drink stuff fast, if I were holding a mug it would get drank.

Who needs either of them? Drink faster. That's what I'm thinking. If I'm thirsty I drink, none of that nursing it all day. Blows my mind that people will pay what they pay for something so unneeded. But each to their own.
