I recently purchased one of these in .300 Win for $1914 shipped to My FFL, IMO yes these rifles are worth it, the fit and finish on My rifle is first rate, My rifle is also superbly accurate and very light, it feels great in hand with its slim stock contour (especially the pistol grip) I hate the thick pistol grips on the B&C supplied factory stocks that the Winchester EW and Remington 700 Mountain SS wear.....IMO the Ridgeline is also a most handsome rifle, I did take the head busting muzzlebrake break off the rifle after My first range session as the noise was way too offensive for My taste...These rifles are not supplied with a thread protector but I called Christensen and they sent Me a nice stainless thread protector free of charge, I like shooting the rifle much better now.....The only thing I don't care for on the Ridgeline is the very slim bolt handle, for Me I would like it better if the bolt handle was a little fatter and maybe soften up its sharp edges a little, but this is also a personal thing, the next guy might love the slim bolt handle........Good luck with your decision.................Hb
