I have been trying to buy a new Vortex Spitfire 1x for my new AR and have had the most difficult time finding one. I ordered 2 of them from the obvious large optics dealers. In each case, after they took my money and I got an email confirming my order, but with a 3 month shipping estimate. 3 months! I cancelled those orders because I wanted the scope right away. I finally ordered from Camera Land. They told me that they were back ordered because Vortex was trying to fill a large national order (probably military), but that they would try to get one for me. Today, my Vortex Spitfire was delivered to my front door, exactly on week from the date I ordered it. Scotty and Neal from Camera Land somehow used their strong relationships with Vortex to fill my order. Those guys acted as if I was their only customer and they just flat delivered! Camera Land, you are the best! I love my new scope. I am a Camera Land customer forever!
