So I was in an out of state gunshop. They had a very clean Model 39 1998 manufacture date Texan on the rack for 600 bucks, out of an estate. After looking at it twice, I found a small nick in the wood by the lower tang by the lever, a very slight scratch by the rear sight plug. It had an aftermarket inline peep as well.
It is haunting me. It would now cost me 650 bucks to have it shipped to a LGS. This is why I can't sleep some nights...

Actually, I picked up an 1897 Texan NIB for $700 about two years ago. Thought I died and went to heaven. So, now, I need an 1897 Cowboy to match it up! Doubt I will find one of those that cheap tho! LOL Thanks for the heads up!
