If they shoot as good as the Vanguard2s, you will probably be pleased.
I bought a new/old-stock B&C stock for my Howa 1500 before I went to New England and need to bed it before I take it to the range. I'm hoping and expecting it to shoot a little better than its 6.5x55 long action brother, since the Creedmoor's throat is shorter than the 6.5x55's and I'm not planning to shoot long/heavy bullets in it.
I dislike the factory installed stocks on both the Howa 1500 and the RAR-Predator, as the ergs aren't great for me. But stocks are such a personal thing that you might like the ergs on either or both. Even though it gained a full pound over its factory configuration, I really like the RAR-Predator bedded in a Boyds Heritage style laminated stock and think that it will work well for me, since I don't move a whole lot when I'm shooting whitetails.
EDIT: Just to avoid any confusion, my Howa 1500s in 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5x55 are the basic blued sporters, not the model that you're looking. I bought the 6.5 Creedmoor from Whittaker's for $330, plus shipping/insurance, and think that at that price, the Howa is a good vehicle for testing the 6.5 Creedmoor water.
