Friend just got this mdl 27 357 and I thought I would try and find him a holster for it. Nothing fancy as he is a rancher and carries it in case he bumps into a Bear or a Boar.

Not to be a pain but you also need to know if it really is a 4" barrel or...? 4" were made but 6" is more common (Highway Patrolman).

Not to be a pain but you also need to know if it really is a 4" barrel or...? 4" were made but 6" is more common (Highway Patrolman). Either the 3.5" or the 4" should work in the holster he is requesting. I assume he can tell the difference between the 4 and 5" and for sure over the 6". I guess he knows what he wants. 4" isn't all that uncommon.

Just measured it and it is 4". I'd like to get one for him as he lets my Daughter and Granddaughters hunt Turkeys and Hogs on his Ranch. I also get to take a Buck.
