This short booklet was first published in 1693 and gives an account of being captured by the Moors (Muslims) of north Africa and being starved and beaten as slaves. It was written by Francis Brooks, one of three Englishmen to escape with the assistance of a Moor who was appalled ? ashamed? of the barbarity shown the Christians who were enslaved. It is estimated that at least 1.2 million European Christians were taken and enslaved by the Moors,( as were some Americans, but later).
The plight of one young virginal English girl is described.

The publisher's introduction starts out with:

"It is a simple fact of the anti-white establishment that the Trans-Atlantic slave trade is known to all, but knowledge of the Muslim slave-trade is deliberately suppressed".

The booklet is a few dollars from Amazon and is worth a read if you care to know how white Christian people were treated by Muslims and Africans at that time.
