Both knives and hatchet are made by Marbles Gladstone.

Top knife is a Fieldcraft. I bought it new at Marbles store in 1997 or so. The other 2 are much older....

Here is another picture of my favorite rifle the Hiptmayer 30-06.

This proves the rifle can get the quarry with the first shot.

I'm with Cariboujack.

L to R:
.338WM MKII assembled from factory parts
.300WM, MKII, factory config
.30-066, MKII, replaced laminate stock with Zytel

[Linked Image]

The .338WM was assembled with a take-off barrel I got from Cariboujack. I've taken 3 elk with it so far and it is going again this year, along with the .300WM with which I've taken 2 elk. The .30-06 accounts for only one elk. So far every time I've taken one of these afield I've filled my elk tag.

Team Zytel 6
Team Elk 0.

Coyote Hunter - NRA Patriot Life, NRA Whittington Center Life, GOA, DAD - and I VOTE!

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.

A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.

A tang safety M77 in .270. The stock (but not the action) used to belong to Jack O'Connor. It was a gift from Bill Ruger. Originally it was a 7x57. It was broken and a new stock was sent to O'Connor.
