Does any one make a windage adjustable one piece turn in mount for Rem 600?

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I think that you're looking for a Redfield JR-600.

Thank You.

It looks like I might not need it now. I had a set of Millet windage adjustable rings here and mounted the old Balvar 8 scope with them and it only took the barest minimum of shim and adjustment to zero it at 200 yards.

I kind of like this set up, tapered reticle, good eye relief, large FOV and I can see the 6mm bullet holes at 200 yards. Nice sub MOA(pushing .5 MOA) groups at 200 with a 50 year old scope and rifle. I do believe coyotes are in serious danger from this rig. I've decide to give it a name "Turret Twisters Nightmare"

I find the tappered crosshair reticle hard to see in low light conditions.

I'm retired and lots of time to hunt, rarely needing to venture into the field before I can see or remain so long as to return after dark. If it is light enough to see a coyote sneaking through the sage in the distance with my bare eyes it is light enough to use the reticles in this scope..

Hunting in the darker forests I usually dispense with a rifle and use a combo gun or drilling with a Heavy duplex or illuminated dot.

As I get older it is far more interesting to hunt with things that are dismissed as not effective any longer or just off the wall.

My bird guns have sxs barrels and two triggers, my waterfowl shotguns still have hammers on them and I seem to be able to kill just as many birds or more than those equipped with the latest and greatest.

I have somewhat eclectic tastes in firearms, in that I like many different brands and styles of rifles, but tend to be a creature of habit when it comes to picking a firearm to take off the rack and carry afield.

When I hunt coyotes in cover here in eastern Nebraska, I often use a Savage 24 in 223/20 with a Leupold Rifleman 2-7x33 turkey-plex. During the 20+ years that I've been hunting coyotes in CO, IA, KS, MO, NE, and SD, I've never run into another hunter using a combination gun of any sort. Once, while hunting south of Manhattan, KS, I bumped into a guy hunting pheasants with a Heym combination gun that was, IIRC, a 16/8x57.

I've never been much of a SxS guy. The only one that I have is an old Parker 12 gauge with Damascus barrels that belonged to my Grandfather.

Rem 700 short action base works on the 600.
Just took one off a Mohawk.
Had low turn in front, windage adj rear.

I prefer Burris Zee rings.

Used 700 2 pc base set, only one screw in the rear. Folks say that works fine. Ordered a 1 pc, will mill a slot in it for better access to load.

But until that arrives, gets the mod......am running 2 pc.
Just a .243 win.

Burriz reg Zee had the bolt handle close. Signature Zee (posiline insert) noticeably taller (more clearance) but still decent cheekweld.

Eventually rebarrel to .300 sav and drop into laminated stock.

Rain this weekend, the Ruger RSI stays home. Beater 600 is crap weather rifle. Zero in tomorrow.
